This weekend we relaxed a little. On Saturday we slept somewhat longer and around midday we went to IKEA. It’s a smaller one than we have in Koblenz, but other than that it’s nearly the same. We had a delicious (rather Swedish) Daimkakku (Daim Cake) and a cup of hot chocolate before buying some stuff for our rooms. We both got ourselves little bed tables and lamps for on top, etc.

In the evening we had our first laundry experience with a Finnish-speaking machine 🙁 (by now we know that you can change the language for the one we used). The payment is done by mobile phone. You just call a number and afterwards you can activate the machine using some buttons in the laundry room.

On Sunday the weather turned somewhat bad. With +3°C it’s pretty warm for this tim of year and the snow is turning into snow slush. The streets are covered with smaller and bigger lakes and the snow is turning into ice. But still we went outside a little. On a short shopping tour we bought some trousers and shirts. In the afternoon we had a walk along the river, which you can’t really see as it is covered with ice and snow.
